Come learn the fundamentals of Cake Decorating. This course is recommended to those ages 10 and older, up to and including all adults.
In this workshop we will be visiting the many skills and tools needed for this course.
Students will learn:
-How to make Buttercream
-Color Matching and developing
-Layering
-filling
-crumb coating
-How to achieve smooth flawless buttercream
-Inversion Method for clean crisp edges
-Basic/intermediate piping techniques
-Writing on Cakes
All students will go home with a Beginners Cake Decorating tool kit of their own.
Class will take place on Sunday March 24, 2024 at Dulce Cafe located at 307 Main Street Poughkeepsie and will be in session from 12pm-3pm. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be available.
