Students will learn the basics of cooking and kitchen safety. Each student will receive their own set of ingredients for this class, all supplies will be provided. Students will follow the instructor step-by-step to fulfill the theme design for this class, making Pastelillos (also known as empanadas) and Spanish rice with chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Kids will be sent home with their food creations. This class will be led by instructor Jenay Scarchilli-Parson. This class is for children ages 9-16 years old.
There will be a complimentary coffee and tea bar available for parents if you do choose to stay with your child however drop off is absolutely OK.
it is very important that your child is on time as well as attentive the entire class.
This class will be held on Monday August 21st from 5-7pm at our new storefront location at 307 Main St., Poughkeepsie.
Photo and video will be shot during this class please feel free to voice any concerns you may have of your child being photographed or videotaped with instructor prior to class beginning.
