During this class kids will learn the basics of buttercream cakes and putting together a cake through both demos and hands on work. Kids will learn how to stack, fill, crumb coat the cake, and decorate a 6 in pink chocolate chip vanilla cake. You will also learn basic frosting techniques.
Kids get to take cakes home at the end of class. All supplies needed for this class will be provided. Masks are preferred for this event. This event is non-transferable and there are no refunds, if inclement weather is an issue event will be communicated to each student the new date and time.
It will be held on Thursday June 23 from 5-7pm at 25 Van Wagner Road in Poughkeepsie, this is the former “PoughKIDskie” facility.
